Please keep in mind that any Democrat who beats him would also be a strong left winger. This isn't an ideological battle.

I'd miss his presidential runs.

No, he's an interesting character, even if he isn't a great congressman. Plus his wife is hot, so he must be doing something right.

Yes, anything to discourage repeated vanity runs at the White House by him or other representatives.

Yes.  I think Kucinich is a bit too much really and that a solidly Democratic seat deserves better representation - hes a bit spotty on the issues and personally.  I think its interesting that people (Democrats on this forum anyway) are split on this issue.

Solid yes, but solid isn't always the same as secure. The district had a Republican rep in the early '90's (who Kucinich defeated in '96) and the general area been prone to high swings in the past.

I would not be in favor of tossing out one of the few Democrats who had the balls to stand up to George W. Bush and his war of aggression from the get go. The last thing we need is another Harry Reid progressive (pussy) in congress.

I really don't care either way but it would be funny to see him lose something he should have held onto forever instead of constantly pursuing something he'll never win.

Right, it's a battle between sane and not sane.

I'd prefer a congressman who doesn't spot UFOs, thanks.

No, I've started to like Kucinich, and I think he does a good job for his District.
