Seems like Wyoming County's been in the 10th district since 1953, before that in the 14th district since 1943, before that in the 15th district since 1923, before that in the 14th district since 1903, before that in the 15th district since 1873, before that in the 13th district since 1863, before that in the 12th district since 1853, before that in the 11th district since creation from Luzerne County in 1842. Luzerne County was in the 15th district since 1833.

Prior to 1833 there was a 3 seat district (PA-09) from 1823-1833, a 2 seat district (PA-10) from 1813-1823, a 3 seat district (PA-02) from 1803-1813. Then as PA-05:

1797-1803 Joseph Heister (D-R)
1796-1797 George Ege (Fed)

From 1793-1795, PA's seats were elected at-large. No Luzerne County resident was elected.

1791-1793 Daniel Heister (Anti-Fed)

And in 1788, PA's seats were elected at-large. No Luzerne County resident was elected.

Excellent resource for Pennsylvanians, at least pre-1916.

Some common names, Wright, Scranton. Both families were big in politics in Luzerne and Lackawanna counties. Charles Dietrich started up the theater where I work which was neat to find out. McDade was arrested for exposing himself recently. We all know the story on Sherwood. Six representatives have lived in my hometown.
