I actually agree with J.J's map. McGovern wouldn't win Minnesota had he been the nominee in 1984. If Monald can only win his homestate by 0.18% over Reagan, I highly doubt that George McGovern could do that.

50 state lockout, obviously. Reagan easily over 60%, probably heading towards two-thirds. By '84 McGovern was a washed-up joke; J.J's map is actually being too kind to him.

Sadly, most of the maps here are close to the truth. In the mid-80s, America would have much preferred to have a half-witted, pseudo-cowboy over a truly honest man. Oh well, so be it.
