Well I got really busy with school (as well as following the primaries) and I realized I never actually posted the results from the final round of this. Well here they are (for the two or three people who still care):

1. "Best Overall Poster of the Year" goes to...

GABU with 12 votes.

Second Place: Lewis Trondheim with 10 votes

Third Place: Joe Republic with 7 votes.

2. "Funniest Poster of the Year" was our only tie....

GABU and OPEBO tied with 10 votes each.

Second Place: Joe Republic with 9 votes.

3. "Troll of the Year" goes to...

ROBERT STARK with 14 votes.

Second Place: gporter and Straha tied with 7 votes each.

4. "Most Influential Poster of the Year" goes to...

ALCON with 12 votes.

Second Place:BRTD with 9 votes.

Third Place: Dave Leip with 6 votes.

5. "Most Enthusiastic Poster of the Year" goes to..

BUSHOKLAHOMA with 11 votes.

Second Place: Harry with 8 votes.

Third Place: Inks.LWC with 6 votes.

Fourth place: DWDL with 3 votes.

6. "Most Cynical Poster of the Year" goes to...

OPEBO with 17 votes.

Second Place: Eraserhead with 7 votes.

Third Place: jfern with 5 votes.

7. "Angriest Poster of the Year" goes to...

JFERN with 13 votes.

Second Place: Sam Spade with 10 votes.

Third Place: Ebowed with 4 votes.

8. "Rivalry of the Year" goes to...

JESUS (BGWAH) v. STATESRIGHTS with 17 votes.

Second place: Eraserhead v. Robert Stark with 7 votes.

Third Place: CARLHAYDEN v. MODU with 5 votes

9. "Newbie of the Year" goes to...

MR. MODERATE with 13 votes.

Second Place: Rockefeller Republican with 12 votes.

Third Place: NDN with 2 votes.

10. And now I must announe the first person voted into the "ATLAS HALL OF FAME"...

OPEBO with 11 votes.

Second Place: Lewis Trondheim with 10 votes.

Third Place: Joe Republic with 7 votes.

Pretty interesting stuff. So who are the early frontrunners for this year? I'll probably switch some of these categories by then. Any ideas for new categories?

"Most enthusiastic" could work.

There were a lot of votes for "everybody v. Stark" during the nominationg process but my specific fued with him collected more votes. I bet "everybody v. Stark" would have perfomed better in this round though.

Not to worry. Does Straha get an award for the most missed forum member?

Maybe there should be a category for most "fringe" forum member. Basically, who is the most outside of the mainstream?
