Romney or Giuliani would've won the nomination. Most of McCain's support came from former Giuliani voters. Romney would've won New Hampshire, Rudy would've challenged in Michigan and probably would've won Florida and come close in South Carolina.

Giuliani's "September 11" rhetoric gets tiresome, and Obama barely wins as the economy goes in the tank in September and October.

Obama would have won more than 400 electoral votes over either Romney or Giuliani.

That is hilarious that McCain won the nomination, and that all those people thought Thompson was unstoppable.

Anyway it would be Romney vs. Obama with the later winning 404 Electoral Votes.

Plus Missouri, Arizona, Montana, Georgia,

How would he have done against Huckabee? After all, he did come in second place... well, not really, but you'd probably argue that he did.
