Apologies for getting sick last night... actually, why the hell would I apologize. Screw that. But interesting results nonetheless

California 13 (39.4%)
Washington 20 (60.6%)

Total Voters: 33

There is little to say. Washington looks unstoppable. It seems that Washington and Colorado have been 1-upping each other this whole contest but this huge win just took the cake. Considering that Washington already slaughtered Oregon and Montana together, Washington is pretty much in the finals.

The bracket can be found here

http://www.bracketmaker.com/tmenu.cfm?tid=260580&tclass=

Ag, a rematch of sorts. Montana beat Oregon by a vote in Round 1 but that was because of Washington taking away most of the votes. Oregon is basically Washington-lite. I think for the picture I'll show a picture of one of the best computer games ever.

The ferry always broke. How annoying. But I am getting well off topic which I tend to do. Oregon is known as the Beaver State. This is a beaver

And this fellow is hunting for beavers

To those of you who have pet beavers I say this to you - never leave your beaver exposed (out in public) or it will be hunted. Maybe. Do people hunt those mammals anymore? I just wanted to try out a sexual pun if you couldn't tell.

Now then, Oregon lost to Montana by a vote and was sent to the Wildcard round. But Oregon ouright won the wildcard round. Then it beat a solid midcarder in Maryland rather easily. Then it beat the powerful Alaska in a close one and now it is here facing off against

Montana! Montana is a pretty damn big state. But nobody lives there. However, it is beautiful. Behold!...

See the bolded word "MONTANA" in the above picture. That shows that this scenery is, in fact, from Montana. Not much else to talk about Montana so here is another one

Gosh it sure is perty. However, no state is without it's flaws. The state has to share it's name with the last name of this whore

Hannah Montana a.k.a. evil incarnate. Montana was a lowly 7 seed but it upset Illinois in a epic upset. That really was an incredible match. Then it routed New Hampshire. So it's pretty powerful actually. But so is Oregon. Gonna be good. Winner goes on to get slaughtered by Washington (again.) Go!

Oregon

Montana is prettier, but Oregon has better civilization.  And isn't hellishly cold for 6 months.

I left it open for 24 hours. I am sorry but rules are rules. It's to avoid any host bias though. I want to be a fair contest host so I have to set aside rules to abide by. In blowout matches it doesn't really matter but down to the wire matches it does. If you had voted Oregon though, you would have put pressure on me to break the tie!

Alright. I thought there wouldn't be a contest during that period because you were sick. Oh well.
