Even the black people that are against it because they find it offensive?

To be fair, many blacks are very racist.

WOW, won't find me agreeing with you very often, but that's surprisingly true, which doesn't mean that their level of racism exceeds some whites', but true anyway.

Well, I oppose the ban, although it is fascinating that conservatives who are up in arms over, say, the Civil Rights Act (for infringing on the rights of employers who choose to segregate) would support a ban on affirmative action.

My only, and I do mean only, conservative issue. I support the ban.


Same but I don't know why it has become a "conservative" issue. It looks like the vast majority of this forum is in agreement that the ban is good. I'd be willing to bet most of the populace would support this ban.

That doesn't mean it's not a conservative stance. Being widely approved or disapproved of doesn't negate ideology.
