  • That under normal circumstances, Michigan will go Democratic at all, especially over a stupid primary?
  • That Florida can go Democratic, outside of such a large blowout that the Democratic canidate doesn't need it?

Screw Michigan and Florida. They got what they deserved. I can't imagine a significant number of people who voted for Kerry voting for McCain because of the retard state election honchos.

I don't expect the Democrats to win Florida. I don't expect them to need it. So, what's the point?

Its nice to make an attempt anyways...I mean you never know...the democrat could grab the state by a small margin this year. But also they could lose it just as easily too. Floirda is just complicated :/

If we ~loooooseea Michigan, MSM should just call the election for Micky C. If we WIN Florida, I think the election is ours.

I'm fairly confident that we'll lose Florida. But I think Michigan, primarily because of economic problems, won't consider giving McCain their EVs.

Yeah, that whopping 3.5% margin in Michigan sure looks comfortable. Tongue Lest you forget Kerry got 51.23% of the vote in Michigan in 2004. I don't expect the state to go to McCain at all and I'm not giving too much credence to the polls right now, but it's not really a safe state. It's not unthinkable that it could become a battleground if Obama continues to do so poorly in the rust belt. I don't really think so though.

Generally speaking it isn't actually a great idea to deliberately try to piss off important sections of the electorate.

Michigan voters don't have the capacity to connect the MI debacle to the Democrats. We might lose 5 votes because of this

Obama: 52%
McCain: 47%

Clinton: 50.7%
McCain: 48.6%
