Well the speech was good and NC is still more than a month away.  Do you really think we'll still be seeing wall-to-wall coverage of Wright in May?  I doubt it.

We're throwing out an entire poll because of a questionable sub-sample?

I don't see much of a difference.  The same poll two weeks ago only showed only a 4 point lead.

People need to remember that sub-samples aren't polls in themselves.

There may be a wee bit of coverage of the Pennsylvania primary though, and that may not be too helpful for Obama either.

Remember when Obama was going to landslide here?

Although these polls are not worth much in the long run (though who knows), this poll (along with others) is the reason why you saw the Obama speech yesterday.

This is two weeks after Pennsylvania. That's as long as Ohio and Texas were after Wisconsin.

Please show me the post where someone predicted Obama would landslide North Carolina.

Until then, stop pulling things out of your ass. Thanks.

BRTD said several times that Obama would enjoy a comfortable win in NC. Maybe not a landslide but an easy win.

And that's probably still the case.  He might have to fight a little harder for it now but its still advantage Obama.

I'd still expect Obama to win this the affluent white vote in places like Raleigh combined with the black vote should ensure that, however Clinton could do very well in Appalachia… no one was ever going to landslide in a state like NC in a race between Hillary Clinton and a Black guy (and I don’t recall anyone forecasting such a result).

Eh...so? Beside the fact that I THINK Clinton might have done a tad better in Ohio and Texas had Obama not racked up all those February wins I also suspect Pennsylvania may be slightly bigger news than Wisconsin. But that's a guess on my part.
