This is hard to ascertain of course, but I'll just speak my mind:

-Most discussed?
Duh. Pennsylvania.
-Least discussed?
Probably a tie between many, but I will say Alaska.

-Most overrated in the terms of the discussion it receives in relation to its importance?
Montana. A 3 EV ultra-Republican state that still seems to get quite a bit of attention.

-Most underrated in the terms of the discussion it receives in relation to its importance?
Tough call but I'd say California. Yeah, it's not a battleground but it's also not really ultra-Democratic and it recieves very little attention on here.

If it weren't for me and Lewis maybe, but we make that not the case.

2004 House Special Election, 2004 Senate race and the abortion referendum in 2006 certainly received attention, and that's not even counting Lewis' Native topics. Certainly more than Wyoming (when was the last time anyone did a thorough analysis of that state before the caucus?)

I answer this in terms of the forum and in a wider scope (a more interesting question)

Most discussed? ohio (maybe not this instant but in the last few years)

Least discussed? Oklahoma, Hawaii, the Dakotas.

Most overrated in the terms of the discussion it receives in relation to its importance?
Ohio by a mile; as well as the other 'rust belt' states. Important in electoral politics but I find the whole 'heart land' land thing to be a bunch of bull. States like NY and later CA built this country and have successfully transitioned from pre-industrial through to the post industrial era. CA is #1 in agriculture in America and NY has maintained a formidable position in finance.

Most underrated in the terms of the discussion it receives in relation to its importance?
perhaps the Mid-Atlantic states

-Most discussed? Pennsylvania
-Least discussed? Idaho
-Most overrated in the terms of the discussion it receives in relation to its importance? Oklahoma easily
-Most underrated in the terms of the discussion it receives in relation to its importance? California, Texas and Arizona deserve closer looks although their destiny is solid for next election.
