I think Zogby did a poll that had Kerry down by one though.  I don't think VA is completely GOP though, because the margin was by 8.  We're only talking 4.5 % of people changing parties.  In 2000 CO was an 8 point margin.  In 96 WV was something like a 15% margin for Clinton.

So of course it is possible, but Dems generally over poll in the south.
