When the guy who thought Lazio could defeat Steve Israel is laughing at you, you really know how insane this prediction is.

i never thought lazio could beat israel.

that post was written in jest.

i cant believe anyone took it seriously.

You think people are going to not take ridiculous comments seriously from someone who was dead certain Ken Blackwell would win?

i dont think i was ever 'dead certain' blackwell would win.

in 2005 i did think he had a shot.

as 2006 progressed, it was becoming more clear he would lose.

however, i kept at my strickland=silly populist schtick...just for grins and giggles.

im a big fan of hillary.

excellent senator.

i cant believe i endorsed that rick lazio joker in 2000.  ugh.  what a disaster he would have been!

So that leaves partisan Democrats and a few weird people like Mitty approving.

the only thing weird is that i actually was hoping that rick lazio guy would win in 2000.

i regret that.

blackwell will win.

ohio isnt ready for a silly populist.

Note dates.

Your sick if you think Ohio will not elect a Democratic Governor in 2006.

strickland will not win.

strickland is going to lose.

populism is a non-starter in suburbia.  i doubt it will play well in the exploding exurbs of the columbus area.

That sounds a bit more confident than thinking Blackwell "had a shot".

Something like that, only Wayne Morse won elections in his own right.

Thanks to Senator KBH, federal candidates can now transfer dollars from federal accounts to reserves for non-federal races.

When did this happen?  That's quite convenient for her, given her future aspirations.

I couldn't find the original article that attributed the shift to Hutchison, but this article mentions the shift in campaign law.
