Since moving I've spent all my time in basically three counties: Hennepin, Ramsey and occasionally the lower part of Anoka, just because I like the Rainbow Foods in Columbia Heights more than the one near me. Today I had a job interview in Dakota, the first time I've left any of those three counties in a very long time except for once when I went to a strip club in southern Minnesota.

However I realized I'm not as isolated as when I was in high school, when I probably spent the majority of months only in Burleigh County. Even my freshman year of college before I started working and had a car to drive to Minneapolis I would make occasional trips with my friends to the Perkins in Nicollet County (We preferred going to that one because it always had hot waitresses.) The only times I ever left Burleigh County was if my family was going on vacation, I had something to go to in Minot, or something happened in Mandan.

Never, as far as I know.

Santa Clara County is part of a very large metropolis. I almost always need to go to Fremont or San Mateo for something at least once in a month.

If I don't go to Seattle or Olympia in that month I have no reason to leave Pierce. Not leaving Pierce therefore used to happen very frequently, not so much anymore.

Don't think so, but not sure, when I was in college I generally went home about once a month, but there could have been a time where I went home for the weekend towards the end of one month, and the next time I went home was 5 weeks later which could have been the first weekend of two months later.  So I could have been in Suffolk for a full month

Well, the one I live in. There's nothing very interesting in the surrounding counties: they're either sterile suburbia or boring rurality.

I can't remember the last time I spent an entire month in one county. It's been at least 2 years, but probably longer than that.

No time I can remember. The mall, book stores, cities, etc. are all outside my county and even ignoring that rarely does a month go by that I'm not in Maryland.

I'm a two county guy for months at a time.  My work and home are in different counties.

yes. in fact, probably most months when I lived in Miami. It's  a huge county, and you could do pretty much anything you need to do there.

I think it's impossible for me to have done so with the possible exception of when I was an infant. I am across the street from Bucks county and live about ten to fifteen minutes from Montgomery county. These days I am all over the place.

Once in Amsterdam, working for a bank as an intern, a zillion years ago. I left relatively healthy, which was amazing in and of itself.

Not for a while, but I reckon it happened frequently when I was younger. November, January, February and June are probably all months in the past that I've spent in Ottawa. For myself, I'm thinking last April? Who knows.

It's been a long time since I spent an entire month in one county, though I have spent most months within the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area.

Probably the last time was collecting data on an experiment in Suffolk, NY in 1984. Since then I've lived near county lines, and worked in a county other than where I live.

Let's see, ignoring school/mall

March - Went to Florida
February - Was in Maryland
January - New Hampshire/Penn State
December - Maryland
November - Thailand, Maryland
October - Maryland, West Virginia
September - Philadelphia
August - New York
July - South Carolina
June - Erie, York, State College, Indiana, PA
May - Unsure
April - Maryland
March - Florida, Maryland

Could've been May of last year since I've been outside the tri-county (Wyoming, Luzerne, Lackawanna) area.

I can't remember the last time I left Shelby County. Never any reason to short of vacation.

I haven't been outside of Marquette County for about 2 months now.

But keep in mind that it's the largest county in the state in terms of land area, and is in fact larger than the entire state of Rhode Island. Plus it's the largest county in terms of population for about 150 miles around. So there isn't really much reason or need to leave it, especially this time of year.

hmmm, I live on the eastern side of westmoreland county, so at least once every two weeks, usually once a week I go to Johnstown.  I guess a few times a year I'm in Pittsburgh, or maybe in another county for a football game, and then in the summer months I go to DC and on vacation, so those are shot.

A good 2/3 of my life, probably more. I'm using city councils for this, btw.
