Of those defeated in 2006, who would you most like to see win back their seat?  Who do you hope never gets their seat back?

Most-Melissa Hart
Least-Cynthia McKinney

Most: None of ours lost, so I don't really want to see anyone who lost in 2006 back. If I had to pick though I'd probably go with Chafee or Leach.

Least: Conrad Burns... although Santorum, Pombo and several others are close behind

Most:  Hard to say.  Jeb Bradley is a top prospect, as is Rob Simmons.  I might have to go with Leach, though.

Least: Rick Santorum, hands down.

Most: Leach  (I really like him.)

Least:  Well, how do you argue with McKinney?  She's nuttier-n-a-fruitcake.  But shoot -- I put Santorum in the same category. John Hostetler was a real loose cannon.  And I sure don't miss J.D. Hayworth. On a state level, I am not sure Ohioans realize what a major bullet they dodged when they gave Kenneth Blackwell the heave-ho.

Ken Blackwell wasn't in Congress. He was the Secretary of State running for Governor.

Most: Jim Leach. In fact he's the ONLY one I'd like to see back.

Least: tie between Burns and Santorum.

She was funny.

On second thought:

Most: Chafee
Least: Pombo (I've seen countless Pombo Real Estate signs in the Altamont Pass)

I would almost like to see Santorum return, though that would mean control in the senate would be lost. However, this man was such an embarrassment to the Republican party that it was hilarious. As far as least, certainly Conrad Burns. A corrupt corporatist to the bone.

Most: Ruling out liberals like Leach and Chafee, I have to say Mike DeWine. He never stood out as particularly odious, and I feel bad he lost by such an enormous margin when it wasn't really about him.

Least: J.D. Hayworth. Epitomizing everything bad about the Republican majority and politicians in general. Arrogance, anger, and contempt for voters and people without the brains to justify it.

Right.  I must have misinterpreted the question to mean anyone who lost in 2006.  Sorry!  My mistake.

I agree with you on both points.

I concur.  I would add Curt Weldon to the least as well.
