I don't think this story has been posted before, but I just heard on NPR that Time is reporting that Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) took illegal funds from the same individual as did Siegelman.  I'll try to find a link.

Edit: I can't seem to find such an article, except from last year, when Siegelman went to prison. Perhaps this is a rehashing of an old allegation?

Doesn't matter. Southerners love their senators. Sessions is safe no matter what.
