And I am only referring to those who came in after the United States first gained its independence from Great Britain.

Anyways -Franklin Pierce (1854)

Ronald Reagan was when some of my extended family came over (aunts and uncles and stuff), but as for people I'm descended from, that would be George H.W. Bush.

My ancestors who went to the U.S. did so in the 17th century, so not applicable. My most recent immigrant ancestors came straight to Canada, so also not applicable.

Maternal Grandfather - Either Theodore Roosevelt, Taft or Wilson, but I think Taft.
Maternal Grandmother's Parents - Either Benjamin Harrison, Cleveland, or McKinley.

My mom's side....  They came to America 3 years after the Mayflower, so there was no president lol

My dad's side....  My great-grandpa came here when he was 15 and he fought in some war and he's 90 now so I don't know when that would've been.  So, 75 years ago that he came here?  It's 2008 now, so....63 years from 2000.... So, that would mean he came here in 1937.  Was that FDR?

I'm not so good at math lol  I might be wrong Tongue

Bill Clinton was the recently elected President when my father (and me as well) first visited the United States. I don't think any other ancestor of mine has ever been there.

Nobody was President when my ancestors on my mother's side came to New France.

My father's family (except him) never came to North America.
