Why do the Democrats hate the rich? Obama wants to double the capital gains taxes? That hurts a lot more than the rich. However, if you make over $75,000 a year, you are considered rich to the Dems! I guess their argument makes sense.

It's not that we hate the rich. It's that we don't hate the poor.

I don't think I've ever gotten a lapdance from a stripper who is eligible to run. Though 35+ year old strippers are not as uncommon as one would think.

Ah, write her in.

Sometimes I feel like California should just adopt the euro, the cost of living differences are so great.

My family earns ~$250,000 a year. That puts us among the top 2 or 3 percent in the nation, but it's just average here.

basically the same goes for me, except 75% of the income, and in Miami.

I don't think 250k is "average" anywhere, though.

It is here. Of course, "here" is just one neighborhood, and possibly the City of Saratoga as well.

People your age should not be talking about such things.  Besides, strippers are haram, right?

Right. On both counts. In fact, I don't know what a lapdance is. Nor do I particularly desire to know.

It's basically a private dance. The stripper takes off everything except a thong and then just rubs her body over your's for whatever amount of time. Usually you aren't allowed to touch them back though I do know of one club in way rural Minnesota where you can except for the tits and pussy.

Doesn't seem all that exciting. Can't you pleasure yourself on the internets for free?

$75k in boston is barely middle class.

obama is out of touch.

Is Boston that much more expensive than Minneapolis? My $25k/year job is perfectly sufficient for me.
According to this website, if the cost of living in the US is = 100, Boston is a 126 and Minneapolis/St.Paul is 107.  Housing is 148 vs 95.  It says it's 15.1% cheaper to live where you live.  Omaha is overall an 83 and housing is 52.  No housing bubble here! Smiley

52? Housing here is 295. Tongue
