Previous round:
Malta         -12 (44.4%)
Switzerland         -15 (55.6%)
Switzerland defeats Malta after a narrow round. Obviously, the Maltese were overestimated.
Both of the participants today had a similar path to the third round. Ireland was narrowly defeated by Iceland and then easily passed through the runoff round. France similarly was defeated by Germany and easily passed the runoff. In the second round, both faced unfavoured countries and advanced easily. Ireland should have the advantage due to the large number of Irish and Irish fans, but upsets have happened and nobody can be discounted.
Here is the bracket.

I like some France-like countries, but not France for some reason. I have an illogical hate for France.

Welcome to the club even though I don't think my hatred is really illogical.  Smiley

I would have voted for Ireland, but then I saw people here hating France (btw people use the word hate too much when they mean dislike), so i decided to support France also because of the wonderful summers we used to spend there when i was a kid. Allez la France!
