We were both working for Members of Parliament, and so we sort of got to know each other on a forum similar to this one, then she came over to observe an Australian election and we got to know each other... she was offered a job with an MP over here and I moved down from the MP in Brisbane I worked for to work for one down here. That's sort of a really abridged version of it, but gives you the general gist of it - about four years compressed into a single paragraph...

Calgary is a pretty nice city. I was just there about 3 weeks ago. Had the best Chinese food I'd ever had in my life.
