I'll be spending some time in Glasgow in June. And probably a couple weeks later in Prague.

More than likely none though I'd like to get down to Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri to see my grandparents. Plus it's a beautiful area with great fishing.

That's definitely a trip I'd like to take some day. Canada is a beautiful country. hell, while you're at it, why don't you drive past Calgary an hour and a half and end up in the mountains...

Oh, and I'm in plans with some High School buds to go see a baseball game in all of the major league parks, but that probably won't happen.

ha, it is a beautiful area, and I love to fish there. Plus, plenty of Obama opponents down there. Missouri is definately one of my favorite states, even about Oklahoma.

Well, my second cousin is getting married, and the wedding is there, so it would be pointless to go any further.  My parents are going, I just need to know if I can afford to not work for 10 days.

Are you sure? Those are both probably Clinton heavy areas, and considering this forum bases places on politics, I doubt you will want to see those areas.

For this summer, I think I'm just going down the shore most weekends and a lot of August.

My grandma lives in Mantolooking.

Ehhhh... If I am confirmed to get my job, I will be heading to Davenport this summer and may see the Great Lakes on the weekend. If it falls through, I will probably go to my parent's house to work on my policy paper for the law review.

However, you're guilty of the same thing. You just said in a previous post that one reason you like southern Missouri and Oklahoma is because of support for Clinton.

Naw, the coast redwoods are some of the most Obama in the state, and the sequoias are in McCain country.

As for me, we had plans to see my cousins in Australia, but those fell through due to a lack of money after remodeling our house. My aunt, uncle, and cousin in Virginia are coming to visit; I may go with them when they go back home.

Otherwise, the standard Yosemite/Redwood/Sequoia/Kings Canyon thing will do.

I would like to visit some friends in Salzburg and spend some time at a friend's bed and breakfast in Südtirol... (I don't know how to say it in English... or Italian for that matter)

I have a 'stuttering clinic' every weekday for 3/4 weeks in July from 9 to 5. I'm not looking forward to it much, obviously. It seems dumb.

I'm hoping to go alone to France in August, though. I hope it goes through.

You will be sorely saddened to learn that most of the coastal counties with high numbers of redwoods voted for Obama (Marin, Sonoma, Mendocino, Humboldt; only Del Norte went for Clinton).

Dumfriesshire and the general areas around it.

South Tyrol and Alto Adige, for what it's worth.

Don't have any time or money to vacation anywhere. A few day trips in and around Toronto is all I can do.

In early July, I spend a week in Richmond, and at the end of August, I spend 5-6 days at Rehoboth Beach in Delaware.
