Previous round:
Portugal         -8 (40%)
Spain         -12 (60%)
Spain defeats Portugal in a round that attracted little interest.

The first semifinal is contested by two English speaking countries. Both have been very successful in the previous rounds and both have their fans. I don't think that it's necessary to talk about the two countries in detail as they're rather well known People have generally strong feelings about Canada, which can be both an advantage and a disadvantage . Canada also has many participants in this forum, but this is not always a guaranteed dvantage.
Here is the bracket.

Canada gets my vote.

Better weather, and the Canadian flag is really nice. Smiley

Canada is probably one of my favorite countries in the world, and I nearly went to school there. The people are generally friendlier there than here, too.

I only voted for Little France because I'm tired of New Zealand doing so well. Then again, Canada will likely become the next New Zealand after this round (going on to win it all).

I'm somehow not sure Albertans would approve of that statement.

I feel for those people.
