The average convention bounce for challengers and incumbents has been the same. Ok, it's really only 6 points, but the Bush campaign claimed it was 15, so I expect a 15 point convention bounce for Bush.

We all know Bush doesn't need a 15 point bounce. If he gets a bounce of 5 or 6% I think that would be quite good.

If Bush gets a 6+% Convention bounce the election is over.

That would put it at, what, about 57-43? LOL, if Bush gets that kind of bounce they can cancel the debates, the rest of the commercials, and everything else because it's over. I look for a 3-5% bounce, 5% being about the max, 3% being approximately what I'm expecting.

Bush will get the 6% bounce. Just wait and see....the fireworks are about to begin. But for now...lets just root for the Hokies to trample USC this Saturday night. Smiley

I'm guessing 4-5% bounce.  As long as they don't go off on the gay marriage thing too much.

He'll get a 3-4 point bounce, which will fall to 2 by mid September, then come October all will be even once again.

Okay, so why does Bush need 15 again?Huh?
Because his campaign claimed that 15 point bounces are typical.

That was a bluff so the Democrats can bomb their convention...

So why can't we shoot that back in their face?
