Question, outside of my capacity as GM:

The NASB (National Association of Small Businesses) wants to know what the candidates will do to help small business, so we'll be sponsoring a debate in New Hampshire.

For which party?

BTW, does somebody want to create a schedule showing what date each ETL primary will be IRL?

NDN is campaigning in New Hampshire:

Speech:

Good Evening,

These days, it's increasingly fashionable to blame Free Trade for our economy's troubles. Or conversely, to treat the free market as a cure-all. Frankly, I disagree with both approaches. The problem isn't really trade. The problem is systemic: it is how our government does business. Therefore I am proposing the following:

1. The New Foundation: A massive effort at reconstructing basic infrastructure, urban renewal, and more over the long term. We can not only rebuild America, we can build it better. And you'll be involved!

2. 'Oil Kick': A plan to end dependence on foreign oil by investing in new refineries (including ANWR),  alternative energy (including Nuclear Power), and public transportation.

3. Long Live America: A new industrial plan designed to revive basic manufacturing industries by tying government assistance to investment in plant modernization and worker retraining. Additionally, I will create a panel to look into ways to remove unnecessary regulations and create new sources of investment capital, such as the expanded use of pension funds and benefits for companies that bring jobs to America (e.g. Toyota).

4. America Learns: A plan to eliminate failed policies such as No Child Left and instead spend money on vouchers, vocational education, and promoting modern skills such as knowing a foreign language.

5. Universal Health Insurance: We can provide healthcare to those who need it, and allow private care for those who can afford it. We need the sort of universal health insurance that countries such as Germany, Switzerland, France, and Japan all have and enjoy. The states can and should administer it.

6. Here And Now: A plan to phase out unnecessary involvement overseas, and spend that money here. We may be a super power, but we are not invincible. And some commitments are simply not worth the cost. Our men will be safer, and your taxes will go down as a result!

We don't have to fear the outside world. We don't have to settle for an ineffectual or costly government either. As long as I am in this race, I will be asking the tough questions politicians until recently have been far too scared to ask. And I will implement the solutions which for far too long, have been equally dismissed and put on the back burner out of sheer cowardice...

Thank You, and Good Night!

We'd prefer an all candidates forum, though if we get too many acceptances to fit on one stage, we'll consider having separate debates for the Republicans and the Democrats.

If it's not too late to announce my candidacy, I'd like to run as a Democrat from Maine.

To clarify a few things, the NASB (National Association of Small Businesses) will be holding its New Hampshire debate in late October or early November.  Candidates who wish to participate should PM me and I'll send them a few questions to be answered which I will then use to produce a debate summary.

It's never too late. Smiley

Though it's smart to declare pre-Iowa.

I love the reception this game has gotten. It really seems to be taking off.

Thanks.

We need some more Republicans. Some polls might also be nice. Anyone up for concocting a few?

Endorse me. If elected I'll reduce taxes on small business and streamline regulation. Among other things.

I like to be proactive though. Wink

I'll debate if it's on Tuesday night. I can't do it any earlier because of exams plus moving out.
