with 96 of 100 counties reporting these are the results:

Richard H. Moore (DEM)   39.88%        595,730
Dennis Nielsen (DEM)    4.03%          60,154
Bev Perdue (DEM)     56.10%   837,987

Looks like Perdue ended up running away with it.

Good to see McCrory got the nomination. Very smart to nominate him. He'd be a good governor and I'm sure this race will be very tight.

Yea it will, I will be happy with both. I know the people I have talked to about the governor races they said the same, and they wear hard core democrats.

i support perdue in this race.

im been a fan of hers since she was in the state senate.  very competent and pro active.

ive been following moore's career since he lost a congressional race to the one term bandit, david funderburke.

Lol. 5 of the 8 counties that voted for Moore also voted for Smith. Losers.
