My state will vote the opposite of the way I will, but less than it has the preceding few elections.

No one is up for re-election except for the House seat so for President:

McCain - 53%
Obama - 45%
Others - 2%

Hart loses to Altmire for U.S. House but damn I love Melissa Hart.

Prognosticating into the future:

Casey gets re-elected when he's up again
Specter might or might not depending upon his health.  I don't think he'll be denied.

Governor is going to be fun.....Jack Wagner vs. Dan Onorato will be our Clinton/Obama knockdown drag-out primary when Bugsy is ready to go.

Onorato will have the Rendell machine behind him.

Yes, he probably will.  He'll need it.  Wagner is well known here in Western PA but more importantly he's well known throughout the state and anytime he wants some statewide coverage he goes on to announce the results of some audit they did.  Onorato has to overcome that.  He's been pissing people off here lately but memories are short.

But Onorato is obviously also from Western PA.  He'll hold his own in Pittsburgh (I'm assuming Ravenstahl endorses him), and with Rendell's help, he'll pull off big victories in Philly and suburbs.  The rural areas will probably go to Wagner though.  This whole thing may be fought either in NE or SW PA.

Realize that there will be others running, too, guys...  Tongue

Wow, what a pleasant attitude, you're so cool and edgy, no wonder half your party is defecting to McCain with people like you shooting their mouth.

North Carolina

Obama 50%
McCain 48%

McCrory 50%
Perdue   50%
(I like both alot, they both will be great Govs of NC)

Hagan(D): 53%
Dole(R)(i): 46%

Josh ....

It seemed like you were thinking clearly recently, but the only sane prediction on that list is the governor's race. Hagan by 7 over Dole? Obama beating McCain? I certainly hope you don't make bets on the election.

Make sure to bump this thread after the election.

agreed

Washington:

President:
Obama: 55%
McCain: 44%

Governor:
Gregoire: 52%
Rossi: 47%

WA-08:
Reichert: 50%
Burner: 49%

Washington has some fun races this year. It is one of those states where down-ticket dems could really be helped by Obama who fits the state very well. The governors race could be closer come November but I dont think at this moment that it will flip. WA-08 will be real interesting as Obama could definately help Burner, but I have a feeling Reichert will once again squeek by.

Although Clinton folks have said they won't vote for Obama in the GE, they will.  Most of them anyway.  Not the racists though.

Not voting for Obama makes one a racist?  Does that mean that black men who voted for Obama by a 97% to 2% margin in Pennsylvania, are racist?

Cute - you noted in another thread that both candidates are 95% identical on issues.  So it seems rational to you that 97% of black men in Pennsylvania voted for Barack Obama over someone who had identical stands on issues.  Yet you claim Clinton supporters voting for McCain are racist.  People like you are exactly why I'm voting for McCain.

Of the Whites who said race was important (a small amount), 78% went for Clinton.  I don't know how you could misinterpret my post as "Clinton people who don't support Obama are racist" since I said most of the Clinton supporters would vote for the D.  Not the racists.  I did not say Clinton people = racists.  I suppose that since you are an I, that you are more loyal to Clinton than the Dem Party, which may partially explain your weak justification for voting McCain over Obama, whose policy positions are almost identical to Clinton's.

Also, this is a CNN Indiana exit poll
