regardless of what context you want to spin into it, these people "exchanged" or "abandoned" one sexual orientation preference for another...so it is possible.  And if it is possible for people to corrupt their sexual orientation with their own lusts, then Christ can obviously uncorrupt it for them.

Okay, okay. You've went back to the beginning again I see I'll make one comment, because I don't want to drag this out.

Cast your eyes just a little bit above that to Rom 1:25

There. That's the context of 26-27; people who who 'worshipped and served created things rather than the Creator' - false gods and physical idols. They abandoned what was natural to them and participated in grand orgies in worship of falsehoods. A bit like those crazy compounds where a cult leader who makes people think he is a god and has 12 wives and sleeps with his kids, crazy unhealthy sh-t like that.

What was natural to individuals, whether heterosexual or homosexual was exchanged for participation in temple prostitution. Now they didn't change their sexuality, they simply suspended it and joined in an orgy driven free for all (They were probably Cybelines). I wouldn't want to see anyone abandon their sexuality to do that.

Again who and what is Paul condemning? Idolatry and prostitution and the corrupted and pretended sexual relationships within them. People were not corrupted by lust, but by idolatry and not believing in the Creator.
