Not particularly.  However, my girlfriend made clear her ridicule of my participation in fantasy politics, especially at the time that I served as President.  In hindsight, I fully agree with her.

But who doesn't want to be president of 100 people on the internets?

My Mum once believed I was an obessive complusive when it came to Politics. I quickly showed her Wink. She mainly believe I was one, because she thought I believed I knew about politics when I didn't. She should come on this forum and see!

I don't believe so, no.

I don't mean to disparage anybody who voted for me, and I'm still grateful to all of them, but I realize now that I could have used that time far more productively elsewhere.

I'm young so of course people find it somewhat strange though no as much so since I'm now in college. I was 12 when I first started following politics. People found it very weird then.

I'm afraid it probably is Phil, quite sad.

Either way, I got into politics young, and personally I really dont care what people think about my interest in it or not.

at first when I was in middle school and when I was a Freshman in High School, all the time. But since then, people just got used to it and I was the go-to guy for anything politics- or government-related.

Nah, not too much.  Many that know me know my family has been involved with politics for generations, so it's "in our blood."  Those that do mention it have a personal dislike for politics to begin with, so the thought of talking about it with someone who is actively involved is a social turnoff.

Oh yeah, I've gotten that before. I'm also frequently called a closet Nazi. Tongue Of course, the question is, if I was a closet Nazi, wouldn't I hide it rather than reading a different book on Germany each day?
