Could Obama put up better margins in Oregon and Washington than Kerry? I'd say it's a possibility.

The Pacific Coast will be safe. I think in the case of Oregon it´s more than likely that he´ll get a better result than Kerry, most likely in WA as well. Better said, OR+WA will mirror CA.

Suburban crush.

College graduates:

Obama/McCain: Obama +17
Clinton/McCain: McCain +1

Incomes over $500,000:

Obama/McCain: Obama +14
Clinton/McCain: Clinton +1

Obama leads those who have made up their minds by 16 points.

Actually California will depend on how the more conservative hispanics in Orange county, the Inland Empire and the central valley decide to vote. They are prone to voting republican and it may happen again. California whites will mirror OR whites for sure. No matter how you slice it Obama will swing the west towards him.

SUSA's E. Washington sample has always been weirdly Democratic, and their Seattle Metro sample has always been weirdly Republican.

I wonder if Obama does better in WA/OR than he does in CA. It's looking like he might.

Depending on the latino vote WA could get pretty damn close to CA. OR is just too republican.

Obama is winning the white vote by 10 points according to this... surely that must be a mistake, as white people are afraid of Obama.

That's why they are voting for him. See as a white person I was scared that if I didn't vote for Obama he would come beat me down, so I went ahead and voted for him and as a result I have not been knifed or anything. Us Washingtonians are smart like that (you people from white states that didn't vote for Obama need to look out cause he's mad and is comin' after ya').

Barring some unforseen disaster, I'd say it is. He's always been wildly popular in the Pacific Northwest.
