Who deals with more blacks normally?

I make this poll because of how much Walter talks about how there are no blacks in Minnesota and I've never met any when there are undoubtedly more blacks near where I live and all of Hennepin county has a higher percentage of blacks than where he lives from the stats I saw. It's funny.

Even more funny was when he said he'd rather live in Oklahoma City than Minneapolis because Minneapolis is "too white and boring" when Oklahoma City is whiter than Minneapolis! LOL!

If you were to add up all the blacks BRTD and WalterMitty have met in their lives and divided by the days they've been alive to get a "black per day" average, I would have to say Walter would have the higher average being from a Southern state before moving into the Boston area, which (like most major cities) has a decent African American population.

North Dakota and Minnesota really don't offer much in terms of diversity over the course of a lifetime.

Here are some urban areas that the Twin Cities urban area is larger than: Saint Louis, Baltimore, Tampa, Denver, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Portland, San Jose, Cincinnati, Kansas City.  What is your cutoff for "major"?

Other than that your post is mostly correct.  Minnesota is 12.7% non-white, while Massachusetts is 18.17% non-white, which isn't too huge of a difference.

Minneapolis is 18% black. My new apartment is in a neighborhood that's about 40% black. Walter's town is about 8% black.

Which is funny because in ND I lived in an area which probably had one of the lowest white percentages of all areas that all people on this forum that have ever lived in except for probably Sam Spade and J. J.

but for 28 years i lived in the south and well...it is just common knowledge that the south is a hell of a lot blacker than nd.

the last job i had in nc, i was in the minority.  worked there for years.

the projects are within 2 blocks of my house.  i suspect a large percentage of the 8% live in those projects.

My county is 2% black, and the only black I know socially is an upper middle class Republican. The only service person I have dealt with who is black is someone who works the men's suit department at Nordstroms. He is the guy I buy my threads from.
