Hairy,

It is great that your state has a 75% Democratic delegation, but you are aware of two things, correct?

1) When you only have four seats it is easier to have a 3/4 delegation. California couldn't have one.

2) Childers and Taylor are my exact type of Democrats, which means they are DINOs.

You are aware of that correct?

Thanks,

James

Eh. In the wider sense they are (or at least Taylor certainly is.) In the literal, Zell Miller sense, they are not, and I frankly don't believe Childers would be even close to one.

Btw, I have a question.

When candidate x bills himself as "I am pro life, period. I am pro Second Amendment, period." and candidate y bills himself as "I'm pro life and pro gun", is that the same message? Do people take them to mean the same thing? Because to me, it doesn't sound like the same message... heck, with a little wordtwisting I could call myself "pro life and pro gun".
(First is Randy Alexander. Second is Travis Childers.)

Yeah, Gene Taylor is a DINO streak in him, but he usually comes through for the Democrats when we need him.  And he ALWAYS comes through for South Mississippi.
I don't think Childers will be a DINO at all.  Gun control and abortion aren't even issues that are going to come up, so who cares?  He's right on the important issues, such as withdrawal from Iraq.

KILL ENOUGH PEOPLE BETWEEN TODAY AND CENSUS DAY TO LOSE A CONGRESSIONAL SEAT!

Oh. And make it mostly Democrats, so Chris Shays survives.

A fair question.

Why doesn't Straha just make up a new account and start using it (since there clearly won't be any repercussions)?

He probably thinks he's insulting him by misspelling his name.  It really annoys me because, as Tim Pawlenty said, "cheap shots are cheap, but they're not free."

Because he hates Atlas.
