long time until november....when we will have fresh election returns to digest.

i think we all know how the three remaining contests will go.

should we all just watch dancing with the stars and forget about politics?

I've become a little burned out on the whole election night thing. We've done this like 20 times now, and we haven't really known what was going to happen since Super Tuesday.

I agree with Lief. I'm burned out. I'm ready to have a nice run without elections for a few months.

Keep making threads on how Obama will win Kansas?

Seriously, people will become less interested in some questionable ways and more focused in other questionable ways - like polls, which will of course, become more questionable during the summer than they already hugely are.

And then when we hit convention-time, everyone will start to get interested again and we should  be interested at that point.

What's fascinating about all this is that the July-August period usually contains the events that decide elections.  So naturally, I'm going to be paying attention.  And others will too...

I'm still looking forward to Montana and South Dakota Sad

But not Puerto Rico, honestly.  It's pretty much a foreign country to me.

There's still primary elections for the House, Senate and Governorships, which are just as if not more interesting IMO.

I'll be watching the remaining three contests vividly.  Then, I'll take a little semi-break while I'm in Atlanta from June 6-July 12.  Then, I'll get back to this political stuff and push toward Denver and St Paul, then prepare for the homestretch/debate period.  After we have a president, I will be anxiously paying attention to the transition process and then wave good buy to President Bush on January 20, take a month long break in February, and finally rev up for the 2010 mid-terms early next year.

Less fun, but less injury.

It is nice to throw punches without getting hit in return.  Too bad it creates a generation of wussified f****ts (or so my deceased grandfather might have said).

I'm also going to focus heavily on my Congressional races.  Oklahoma's State Primary is July 29.

I've been burned out since about Super Tuesday. I don't post much in this board anymore. I'm ready for other people to likewise move on and discuss other things on a daily level.

I'll be busy moving around and trying to figure out other events that are happening in my life. So this little "break" for the next couple months is still going to be busy for me. Im still going to hang around here though.
