As SoFA, I feel it is prudent for me to chime in here.

It is my own personal opinion that the timing of the December 2007 Elections had little negative consequence on turnout.  Pushing elections later or earlier is largely a wash.

As such, I personally have no strong opinion on this bill.  If the Senate as a whole supports it, then I, as SoFA, will gladly support and enforce it.

We will move to vote on this in twenty-four hours.

In all fairness, I think there's little to debate here.  This bill is not exactly the most controversial thing ever written.
