I vote for Colorado Springs.

and for the record, SLC is not an accidental ommission, the city proper of SLC is actually quite liberal (most of the Mormons live in the suburbs or surrounding Provo/Ogden areas), and it's also not really a major city (Des Moines, Iowa is actually larger)

Did any of these cities go for Bush in 2000 inside the city limits?

I think they all did except Cincinatti and Birmingham because of the black populations.

I'm actually not sure but I wouldn't be suprised because even though it has a large Hispanic population Hispanic turnout in Texas is absolutely abysmal.

Out of those, I only consider Dallas and Cincinnatti major cities.  So i voted Dallas.

Why? Cincinnatti is actually the smallest city on the list.

Even though Omaha is pretty Republican, it's not really that far right in the sense that a place like Colorado Springs or Tulsa is, it's more similar to a bigger version of Rochester, Minnesota. Kind of like its fellow Red River valley cities Sioux Falls and Fargo. So I guess it probably is the most right wing in a Libertarian sense making sense to be his pick.

I probably should've included Jacksonville. hmmmm.

it also doesn't quite fall into the category of "major".

And, yes, Jacksonville should have been on the list. (It's actually the 14th biggest city in the U.S.)

I think that's only because the city proper is expanded to take up almost all of Duval county though, so it includes lots of areas which are really suburban or even rural.

the largest city in America is actually Sitka, Alaska, south of Juneau. It's 2874 square miles and has a population of less than 9000

Neither do Tulsa or Colorado Springs....

they both have over 200k population, which is basically how I define "major"
