I couldn't actually find any written report on this CT poll on Rasmussen's site at all and it's not reflected here:

Connecticut could be one of those states where McCain plays very well in... I wouldn't put it past him to lose it by only +5 in a 50/50 race. Kerry only won it by 11%.

Yeah, but I thought that Obama would play very well in the state. He did beat Clinton here, in her own back yard, no less.

McCain would have a shot in a normal year, but the war and gas prices will hurt him.

As it is, Connecticut right now probably thinks McCain is some sort of Rockefeller Republican (as if they still existed).

Obama should end up doing as well as Kerry did in Connecticut.  My prediction:

CONNECTICUT PRESIDENT -
55% (D) Obama
43% (R) McCain

Connecticut is not a liberal state.  Affluent does not equal liberal.  It a moderate state that has rejected a more right wing GOP in the last few cycles.  McCain is not exactly on the extreme right of his party like Bush is. 

In the end I think Obama wins by 10.

A lot like NJ IMO.
