1968: Kennedy/Humphrey v. Nixon/Agnew v. Wallace/LeMay

Scenario:  RFK doesn't go through the kitchen of the Ambassador Hotel and this never gets near Sirhan Sirhan.  The debacle of Daley's thugs beating up the anti-war protesters is enough to given Kennedy the nod after McCarthy reluctantly decides to throw his support behind Kennedy to keep Humphrey from getting the nod.  However, to try to unite the party, the bosses do require that Humphrey get the Vice Presidential nod.

Opinions as to the results before I chime in?
