Thank you. Seriously. It's so great to see someone so committed to hurting Obama. This is one insane woman.

it implies he's not really an American.

I guess, I didn't really interpret it like that at all. Maybe her supporters in Kentucky and West Virginia did, but I saw at as an attack on the Republican party for abandoning traditional American values.

Well, that's not what I was getting at. It hurts Obama because this woman is just so obsessed with never ending this and then backs it up with some stupid reasoning. Acting like Americans again? What the hell does that even mean?

Real Americans during the 1990s I think is what she means, and they voted for Clinton.

Only a Republican could come  up with such a twisted reading. I actually thought she was co-opting some of Obama's positive message there, although she has talked about facing big challenges in the past.

Right.  Acting like Americans -- in terms of caring for the disadvantaged, looking out for our neighbors, creating jobs at home before shipping them overseas, etc.  You may not think we ever stopped doing those things, and I can see why a Republican would object to her saying that on those grounds.  But she wasn't attacking Barack.
