So many good shows.  Sopranos, Simpsons, All in the Family, Cheers, MASH, South Park, The Twilight Zone, Venture Brothers....probably the Simpsons if for no other reason than it's stayed on the air for so long and keeps making money.  Sure it's not what it was 10 years ago, but neither are you or me Smiley

The Sopranos, probably all-time

But it's close.  Because I also love/loved...

Battlestar Galactica (the new one, not the horrible old series of 1980)
Gunsmoke (I told you I was old.)
NYPD Blue (even though certain things about it were preposterous)
All in the Family
Big Love (Like a train wreck -- I can't look away)
The Rockford Files
Jericho (still bitter they took it off)
Tour of Duty
Hill Street Blues
Bonanza
Mash
Third Watch
Andy Griffith
The Office
Criminal Minds
NCIS
Magnum PI

Lots more -- I really enjoy good television where wonderful characters are created.  Love them, hate them, pity them -- whatever.  That's the key to making a show I love.  Create a character I care about.  Whether it's Uncle Junior, Barney Fife, Higgins, Doc & Festus or Detective Andy Sipowicz -- I like good, well-developed characters.

I've been watching Arrested Development on DVD the last few weeks.  There is some really good stuff in there.  It's to bad it was on Fox, where they kill good shows as quickly as they kill bad ones.
