Two Os.

And you can have this distinction as it pertains to the current bastardization of the concept of conservativism.

Thankfully I don't fit that concept either. Like I said we're exactly the same except you're more secular.

Overall I'd say Fezzy, but only if we use the actual concept of 'Conservative' and not 'Reactionary' like it's become now.

Fezzy has implied he's a racist?  I think not.

I'm not a racist either. So that would make your assumption is rash and unfounded.

Your support for religious right social engineering, your favoring foreign policy imperialism. To be honest, an actual conservative in  this day and age such as myself would probably end up classed as a moderate or libertarian leaner under current political platforms. Actual conservatism favors avoiding mass social engineering(of either leftie utopianism or religious right moralism), prudent on finances and favoring a humble/non-interventionist foreign policy.

You think I'm religious right? LOL Where in the world would you get that idea from? I do favor some moderate form of imperialism I will admit to that myself for the goals of securing natural resources and spreading our republic. Most stuff that is said here about me are smear jobs perpetuated by a few liars and led by bgwah.

Explain your strongly rightwing social score if your views don't align with the religious right's in many areas then.

Most of my beliefs are strongly personal and I believe they should not be applied through the federal government. On top of that I'm Catholic and certainly wouldn't call myself a damn Protestant.

Same!  I still don't know how we ended up in opposite parties! Smiley
My historical interpretation seems pretty different and I dislike the current post-Reagan brand of 'supply side,' socially authoritarian Republicanism. It's basically just bigger government for the wealthy at the expense of everyone else. Of course a lot of Dems aren't much better.

That's pretty much the impression I get. To be honest I think you leaving the party in some way is inevitable though. As the Republicans continue to solidify their base in the south and with hawks/evangelicals their alliance with the other factions in the GOP is becoming more tenuous.. Especially as Professionals leave for the Dems. My guess is that eventually they'll nominate someone with 'populist' credentials like Huckabee in another 4-8 years after McCain loses (12 years tops). That's just the way the parties seem to be drifting.

Fezzy is more "conservative"

SR is more of a right-wing reactionary.
