Here's an article from today's Tucson Citizen by left-wing moron Black Morlock.

Supervisors' campaign coffers are swelled by '04 cash drives
BLAKE MORLOCK
Tucson Citizen
Members of the Pima County Board of Supervisors faced little opposition four years ago and have sizable war chests to fight for their seats in the fall.
Democrat Sharon Bronson has $56,000 left from 2004 and Republican Ann Day has $63,000 remaining from her '04 run. Both were unopposed and can carry that money forward into 2008.
Bronson faces challenges during the primary from former county Democratic Party Chairwoman Donna Branch-Gilby. Retired businessman Barney Brenner, a Republican, also is running in the district.
Day faces Joe Higgins in the Sept. 6 Republican primary.
Bronson had $126,000 on hand at May's end, having raised $22,000 through the first five months of 2008. Gilby and Brenner each raised about $23,000 during the period. Finance reports for Jan. 1 to May 31 were due Monday.
Brenner said issues such as taxes and spending will help him in his campaign, but Bronson's leftover cash will pose a challenge.
"Campaign money is ammunition," Brenner said. "I'm going to be running into serious ammunition if she gets past the primary."
Supervisor Ramon Valadez, who was appointed in 2005, has $34,000 and faces a Democratic primary challenge from Robert Robuck, who has raised $1,500.
The two incumbents who face no opposition in the primary and general elections, Democrat Richard Elías and Republican Ray Carroll, have spent the most money. Elías and Carroll combined have spent more than $20,000 this year and may have scared off challengers.
"It's important to run a campaign to let voters know you care about what they think," Elías said.

Uh, the primary is September 2nd!
