Gen. Marshall was a genuinely great man who didn't get the glory he deserved as Chief of Staff.  I don't think he ever got a ticker tape parade, but he was instrumental in winning the war.  That said, Ike was the symbol of the US effort in Europe and would still have won.  However, I think it would have been closer.  I will swing these states where Ike won by five or less points to Marshall:  Missouri, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Rhode Island.
