Many cities in Wayne County have ordinances that prohibit placing signs on the easement, but hardly enforce them.  I've always pushed the ordinance officers to enforce them on both Dems. and Reps, and now we have some protestors who put signs on the easement (space between sidwalk and road, public property) while they protest, but the cities do nothing about it.
