...and we wonder why no women post here...

To be fair, Duke and opebo are the only pro-rape members we have, as far as I know.

To be fair, this is an unfair characterization, obviously.  But I do support giving the gentleman the benefit of the doubt in court.

We need benefit of the doubt courts.

It can hardly be denied that rape is a more debatable sort of crime than murder/manslaughter.  The fact that sex is a commonplace and that the receptive partner can at will classify it as 'rape' based on only their 'word' makes it much more dubious than murder.

Hardly. He might fantasize about it maybe, even make an inappropriate comment if she's 11, but we all do that from time to time, don't we? Tongue

There was that Alabama guy whos name I can't remember that fits into that category as well.
Apparently he kept sending flirtatious private messages to Mimi "Tik" Merlot asking if Tik has a MySpace, hot pictures, et cetera. Eventually he wanted to know if they could "meet up" somewhere. That was disturbingly funny, to say the least.

He also pretty much asked Rin-chan out through posts.

I believe you are speaking of Southern Patriot (aka DWPerry).

Whatever happened to that guy anyway? He was pretty strange, to say the least.

Running for Senate in Alabama and for President in 2016....

Dear Lord... did you see the part where he claims to be polling at 2% in a Rasmussen poll? The 2% he is speaking of is in fact for "other". What a hilarious dude.

Ah, that guy. I invited him to join the RPP the other day.

     Slang for date-rape drugs.

Upon further review, it's actually spelled "roofie."  Anyway, it's a date-rape drug that guys slip into drinks at bars then take the drugged out girl home for a night of easy sex while she's knocked out.

Anybody can write music.

There once was a guy named Phil
and women couldn't give him a thrill
So he met up with Josh, and ate some squash
and now they live on Berry Hill.

Okay...maybe I'm just wild today.

I wasn't reading the "Send tobacco exec's to GITMO" because it sounded way to stupid to waste my time with.  Well today I had a little extra time.  How the hell did you guys not put this gem in here?
No; people know the risks of tobacco, and choose to ignore them.  It's their own faults.
People know the risks of working in tall skyscrapers now, but they still do it.  If another terrorist attack blows up a skyscraper, shall we let off the terrorists scot free and say that the dead "knew the risks"?

Does anyone else find it funny that Naso gave a spoiler warning for...

Watched the classic "Kindergarden Cop" (1991) with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
SPOILER:

....a movie made in 1991 especially a well known movie? You've either seen this or have no plans on ever seeing it. It just struck me as humorous.

Meh, I don't think it's necessarily true that any well known movie that's 17 or more years old is one that "You've either seen this or have no plans on ever seeing it".  There are lots of movies that are older than that that I've never seen, but might be interested in seeing at some point.  I just don't have the time or inclination to go rent everything out there that might appeal to me right now.  Some of it, I'll hold off on for a rainy day.

That said, it's hard to imagine that there are that many people who would be so into a movie like Kindergarten Cop that they would care if that element of the story had been spoiled for them.

It was actually 1990, I stand corrected. By the way, Kindergarden Cop was the 10th highest grossing film of 1990, so clearly many people have seen it.

I was more referring to his belief that the Earth is 4000 years old

No, not 4000 years old, around 6,008 years old.

I feel like Xahar, but I was reading some of my old fantasy government posts looking for something and found this I posted about RON PAUL:

Would you consider merging with the RPP if we changed our party name?

Mostly definetly, I just find that man utterly repulsive.  However, I would like to know more about your foreign policy ideas.

Unrelated:

Obama collapsing in Minnesota and Colorado.

It's still not too late to nominate Hillary.

Around the corner of the cave is an empty cavern. Beet is kneeling on the ground, incense from a cauldron sifting into his nostrils, in a bare red robe, his face beet red, eyes closed, strange pagan symbols drawn on his arms and face, deep in meditation.

[conventional wisdom incantation]

zzzZZZzzzZZZzzzz

oooOOOOoooOOOooo

"I channel the wisdom of convention."

oooOOOOoooOOOooo

Lightning strikes.

EEEEeeeeEEEEeeeEEEkkk!!!!

Suddenly, Beet's eyes flash open, revealing oversized red eyeballs.

"Barring surprises, Colorado will decide the election."

Beet's eyes close and he dozes off.

Darth Vader is Luke's father.

This reminds me of a hilarious post from another forum when The Passion of the Christ came out. The title was "I just saw Passion of the Christ SPOILERS" and the post was just "He dies."

Hey, I started it!

Bruce Willis is dead, that's why the little boy can see him.

Alan Rickman didn't care about the terrorist groups getting released, he just wanted all the crap in the Nakatomi vault.

The 12 Monkey's have nothing to do with why Bruce is sent back in time.
