Although, in the Republican runoff for public service commission president, the winning candidate is named Twinkle Cavanaugh. Twinkle?!

I actually wouldn't be surprised to see her in Congress one day.  She was the chair of the albama GOP and was a top aid to Gov. Riley.

It assumes she wins the Public Service Commissioner race which she is probably the underdog in vs. Former Lt. Gov Lucy Baxley. The Democrats have generally done well in these races, Susan Parker easily won hers in 2006 despite having lost badly to Sessions.
