We're going to need a  breakdown of number of registered voters in the Northeast as of midnight next Friday, as well, so that we know how many Northeast Representatives we need to elect.

Good luck, he hasn't posted since November 10.

I will do his job if he does not act within 4 hours.

I did apply to be his deputy, and he said he liked the idea - he just never forwarded it to the prez.

What exactly qualifies someone as a registered voter? Tell me this and I shall update the lists today, or if it takes too long, by 11:59pm Thursday.

Actually we only need the SoFA to do his job.

Although I realize that is asking a little too much.

I've done a bit of research and tonight I should be able to piece together everything - not just that - but do it in a way that will make it easier for the current/next SoFA and anyone else for that matter to find out whats going on.

Hopefully if I do well, I can become SoFA myself Cheesy

The technical term used in our constitution is "citizens", not registered voters.  I think we based that on the number of people registered in the Northeast on the voter list, but it's never been litigated.  SoFA Earl's count was 51 or 52 in mid-October.

We need the info as of NEXT Thursday.  Northeast local elections are next weekend (18th), not this weekend.

Perhaps - but the constitution says the count as of next Thursday (technically, Friday at midnight) is determinative to set the number of seats in the Northeast Assembly, not this Thursday. I suppose you can do then, but the count would have to be updated.

Of course. Ideally the list would be maintained every day.

Or at least weekly. Every day would be difficult to catch up with Sewer Socialist's party hopping. :-D

Two things

A - There is a new 'format' I'm working on that would make the list very very easy to maintain, for anyone.

B - This will take longer than a usual and normal head count, and so I am removing my self imposed deadline of tonight, but will work throughout my weekend (Fri and Sat) to get it done.

I would wait to be nominated before doing the job, no? Other people are perhaps interested and I think you are ineligible.

Well, the Lief can delegate that matter to any cabinet official if the SoFA isn't able to open the voting booth.

I dont much care really. I'm going to do it because it needs to be done. I hope that I will become deputy SoFA, but regardless, I'm going to do it anyway. If my list is rejected because I am a convict, I'll just ask someone who qualifies to post my post in their post Tongue

East Coast Republican can open it. Smiley

I have a voter list that was up to date as of about a week or so after the last election. I'll start working on it, but it would be a lot easier if people would limit the thread to registrations only.

Voter rolls on the wiki (which are unofficial) have been updated.
All persons have missed 4 elections have been removed.
New persons who failed to vote in the last election have been removed.
There's always the possibility of mistakes so feel free to correct any you come across.
This list is not official. Only the one kept by the SoFA should be considered official though it's probably way out of date.

I'll open the booth, if necessary. It's not completely under my jurisdiction, but I'll do it if I must.
