EXCEPT NOT.
Because, right in the middle of the town square, right around the state of ilikeverin made out of cheap aluminum cans due to strict budgetary conditions, lied the obviously dead corpse of jOHN eNGLE*!!!!!!!!!
What barbarians, what monsters, could hurt such a poor, defenseless, fully-Midwestern soul? What terrible people could do a deed such as that?
The instigators were clear: the Pacificans. Who else but those beings of pure evil would perform such actions? And so, the people of the Midwest gathered together at the town square, and passed an emergency proposition extending the term of Governor ilikeverin indefinitely (as usual!
) and instating the death penalty for Pacificans. All Midwesterners then donned a secret identity, just for kicks. They resolved the next day to gather and decide which of their own to kill on suspicion of Pacificanness
