I am Smiley

I'll be in Ille-et-Vilaine from August 15th to 27th with my family. I'll probably have internet access, but I'll just use it very rarely. I'll be working in the fields, doing other stuff, and going to the Breton department of Loire-Atlantique; so I'll have other stuff to do than spend the day on the Internets and Googles.

I already know where he's going. No need to include "snooty."

Rennes is in Ille-et-Vilaine. Loire-Atlantique is further south, and includes Nantes (the historical capital of Brittany, even though the department itself technically doesn't belong to the region of Brittany anymore).

Nantes probably. I might go back to Guerande, since I love that place.

Exactly! Or in this case you were more at Ch'tis (regional name of the inhabitants of the North of France)

And if you'd been by the corner in where I currently live, I'm quite sure you'll find more and more people to welcome you maybe more in Occitanie than in France (I'm at about 80 km east of the city of Toulouse).

France, this highly centralized country is on the way of the regionalization...! Until where will it go? I can't say, but it took the way, and Britanny is a great example of this.

Personally I don't like this way, but it seems to be the epoch for this...

France is very, very far from becoming a federal state.

Just recognizing regional languages, which, in my opinion, is extremely important, is not federalism.

Yes, we are very far of the federalism but the trend of the regionalization is strongly here. And what you say about regional languages shows it.

Well, let's recognize the different cultures that our history tried to assassinate, but what I don't like in this trend it is that I feel we try make them reborn, and I don't like when we try make reborn the past, I prefer when we try to invent...

Guys who came in France?

Those did too:

And they brought things which are now part of our culture, especially some words.

Those did too:

And they brought...euh...money! And that's why we (those who do money with) do the best to not disappoint them and to offer them the maximum of clichés they want to see... Wink

And so those, through other ones like them, might come here to see, through other things, something like that:

But they might be disappointed because instead of this, which is something far disappearing, they might find this:

Welcome in France!

No, they did not come to France, they were born in it!

Where do you want to kick them out?!?

These "racailles" are French, as much as the young tecktoniks I've pictured above.

"La France, tu l'aime ou tu la quitte."

That's the only thing where I agree with de Villiers.

"La France, tu l'aime ou tu la quitte."

That's the only thing where I agree with de Villiers.

Very restrictive view of the citizenship and means that France has been and is never wrong and can't be contested.

Euh, well, we no more speak about citizenship I think here...

More of that, frankly, "La France tu l'aimes ou tu l'as quittes", stupid statement concretely speaking, not?

And when I say all of this, I'm far to have some sympathy for these "racailles" (I don't like the word because I think that taking it is coming in their game), but I don't like half-trials.

That event made Wilhelm I an emperor, Bismarck a prince, and Napoleon III a "Monsieur."
