Im in France. Weather quite bad today- very windy out.

AF from Dorval to CDG was excellent - 5 hours flight instead of 6, quick customs, and good flight.

However, CDG to Rennes wasnt as good! The flight was operated by AF affiliate Airlinair, a stupid joke with old ATR prop planes: first, on the tarmac, the pilot said we had electrical problems (I automatically thought about TWA700 Cheesy). An electrician came, left, and then the pilot said it needed a kinda battery stored in Orly (Jesus F. Christ, no spare parts in a huge airport lolz joke airline).  So, we deboarded and shipped to the airport. Since we French like to complain, the counter was attacked by angry people who demanded TGV tickets to Rennes Station. They gave us a pass for drinks and sh**t instead. Then we waited for an hour, received information that the battery had arrived in Orly, when an hour before it was in Orly. Lol joke airline. Then they shipped all 100 pax upstairs to get TGV tickets to Rennes. We waited in line for half an hour before they told us the plane was ready for boarding in half an hour (so 15:30) and takeoff at 16HRS. At 16HRS, still in the terminal, we were told we were changing planes and takeoff delayed to 16h30, and boarding in "10 minutes". After an hour, we were still in the airport. At 17:00 we finally boarded and took off at 17:15! We landed in Rennes at 18:20 but authorities prevented us from deboarding because of stupid international laws preventing deboarding while another plane on the tarmac was boarding. Our car rental closed at 1830, so my father yelled at the authorities and threatened to sue them if we failed to get the car. They let us off, o/c.
We were in Bretagne at 1825 instead of 1300. LOL AIRLINAIR!

We'll be going to Nantes to visit the Ducal palace next week:

Why the hell you take a plane to make Paris-Rennes?!? It seems you've heard about TGV... Talking about this, I'm surprised that there are still planes to make Paris-Rennes.

IIRC Airlinair is not always bad, my father took it for a while for his job and never had such problems.

Then, weather is bad in South-West too today, it could be a Breton weather...

Not going to Nantes. Going to Pointe du Raz, the tip of Brittany in the Finistère.
