After much trial error, I finally made a map on MS Paint. I have 2 questions about it:

How do I Copy and Paste it into the forum?

It won't copy directly, and it doesn't give the "properties/URL" option when you right click like the other forum images do (e.g. the ones for your profile).

How do I select the colors that Dave has for his maps?

There is only one red (50%)and one pink option (30%), and when I try to customize the colors, it asks for 3 digit numbers. What numbers are the forum colors?

You need to host the image online, on a server like Imageshack.us or Photobucket. They'll give you a direct link to the image and you'll paste that URL between the

I don't use either of those websites. Do you have do the whole join them/set up account routine?

So there's no way of doing it without a third-party-website?

Imageshack lets you host images without joining.

Alternatively, you could upload them to the Atlas Forum Map Gallery.

Thanks! I had forgotten about the gallery, lots of good stuff there. I left a comment on one of your maps (to narrow it down, it involved France).

Ah. I'll go track it down and I'll answer it via PM. Smiley

It's actually not a bad program, when used effectively.

For simple maps, yes. Better than the GIMP, for sure (which I'm forced to use because my old Photoshop doesn't work on sh**tsta).
