Centrists always strike me as a little arrogant, as if they have studied the issues more than everyone else which ultimately leads a person to the middle, whereas us outliers in Socialist/Bush land are just idealistic idiots afraid of compromise.

And damn it if they aren't exactly right!!!!

I approve. But somehow I find it difficult to imagine Snowguy's views with the D-MN avatar add a pair of spectacles and a finely trimmed beard and the image is complete.

My vision is 20/13 thank you very much... but I find God's sense of humor to be quite dark... why would you give somebody as ugly as me great vision so that I could stare at myself in detailed disgust?  (Well, that's definitely an exaggeration, but a little humbleness is never a bad thing)..

Skip me.

Socially... you're a godless liberal heathen. Get help, now!

Economically, for a somewhat in compassionate hack.

..and I mean that in the nicest way.

Not bad, I can certainly respect socially liberal Republicans and even admire them for standing up to their party.

Classic Liberal Democrat. I get along with his types fine just as long as we don't wander on to topics like Abortion, Affirmative Action, Euthanasia, etc.

Tolerable. We agree on many social issues but have quite a few differences on economics (though maybe not as much as we both think).

Phil's tolerable despite his Toomey/Santorum/CfG-Fetish...but many people with a similar ideology annoy me.

Much too liberal for my tastes, especially on economic issues. However I find that he's put more thought into it than most people do, so I don't have much of an issue with it.

A perfectly legitimate and respectable viewpoint.  Might actually be driven further to the left by being surrounded by Idaho Republicans (an odd phenomenon, but a real one nonetheless).

seems nice on paper but is actually pretty bad considering he pretty much implies he cares more about Israel and foriegn policy than the Economy.

I do care about foreign policy more than domestic policy, on the whole.

Which is very stupid at this point in time. Why do you care more about it?

Not a fan of democratic socialism, but has an interesting mix of Christian and socialism, of course.

hmmmmm, what makes you say that? I mean when I first came here or 6 months before than I was definatley a Christian Socialist but now I am 90% secular.

His extreme centrism is okay, and at least he hates extremists on both sides.

Your social score doesn't cry "SOCIALIST", though.
