Humphrey, though it isn't the best list to choose from by any means.

I disagree.  Jackson is the best Democrat to run for President in the last 50 years.

I was getting ready to say "get the f*** out of my party," but then I was lucky enough to remember that it is no longer my party.

McGovern, obviously.  probably the last time I would have voted

because you were doing it for attention and acceptance.  not that I thought you were making a grave moral error.

Shirley Chislom for sure,

If RFK wins your 1968 scenario, doesn't that change 1972?

I think that all of these are independent of one another

McGovern, easily. The rest are complete jokes (even more than McGovern was), hacks, or evil people. Some of them a mixture of all the aforementioned.

Why did you ditch the Democrats? Instead, fascist Zionists number among the red avatars now.

You really could say that about any party unless you hold office.

Three way tie between Humphrey, McCarthy and McGovern but I chose Humphrey simply because he could win. I am a huge sell out of my principles. Tongue

Mayor John Lindsay (D)

I like a man that haves a drink at the end of full day of campaigning! Not to mention a politician that has similar political views to myself, so in the 1972 Democratic Presidential Primaries I would have voted for Mayor John Lindsay. Considering that he dropped out after his disastrous performance in the Wisconsin Primary, I would have jumped on the growing McGovern Campaign.
